Chris Wallace

Chris joined the Office of Internal Audits in October 2024. Prior to joining the office, Chris worked for 6 years as an external auditor at the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor, and for 1 year performing external audits in the private sector. Chris is an alumnus of Appalachian State University, graduating with a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, and a Master's of Science in Accounting. Chris is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA), and the UNC Auditors Association (UNCAA).
