Annual Security & Fire Safety Report (ASFSR)
The Office of Access & Opportunity: Equal Opportunity publishes the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report for all campus locations of Appalachian State University, including the Boone Main Campus, Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences Campus and Hickory Campus. This report contains key information such as:
- Clery crime statistics for the past three calendar years
- University policies, procedures and programs.
- Instructions on how to report crimes or emergencies
- Resources available to the campus community and victims of crime
As a campus offering residential housing facilities, the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report also includes for the Main Campus:
- Fire statistics
- Details on fire safety systems
- Fire policies and procedures to protect all residents and visitors
Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program (DAAPP) Report
The Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program (DAAPP) Report details Appalachian State University's programs, policies and prevention initiatives to address substance abuse issues within our community. It aims to educate students and staff about the risks associated with drug and alcohol use while promoting responsible behaviors.
Crime Log
The App State Police keeps a daily activity log that records all reported crimes within App State's Clery geography and patrol jurisdiction, including reports made to Campus Security Authorities. A record of the last 60 days of activity from the Crime Log is available online or can be requested from App State Police.

Fire Log
The Office of Environmental Health, Safety, and Emergency Management (EHS&EM) at Appalachian State University keeps a comprehensive log of all fires that have occurred in on-campus student housing facilities and can be viewed online or in person at the Office of Environmental Health, Safety, and Emergency Management on the Boone Main Campus located at East Hall, 175 Locust Street, Boone, NC 28608.
Stop Campus Hazing Transparency Report
The Stop Campus Hazing Transparency Report, overseen by the Office of Student Conduct, summarizes findings concerning any student organization found in violation of Appalachian State University's standards of conduct related to hazing. First Publication will be December 2025.
